The Hidden Crisis for the Blind in India
India is home to the world's largest blind population. Yet, despite hundreds of NGOs and training centers, most visually impaired individuals still struggle with unemployment, isolation, and lack of opportunity.

remain unemployed, even after attending NGO training programs.
Most NGOs
stop at basic workshops, leaving trainees without jobs, income, or even a sense of purpose.

of the blind often face financial and emotional strain, with no long-term solution in sight.
The Blind Academy was created to change this — turning training into lasting employment, income, and independence.
